The Little Daredevils

I swear that some days I think the boys are really trying to give me a heart attack. They seem to have almost no fear, especially Jack, when it comes to climbing. We recently got a few new pieces of furniture in the house and have had to rearrange some things. One of the new items we got is an old trunk that is sitting at the end of our new loveseat. The boys have realized that this creates an easy way to climb onto the couch.

James is a little more cautious, but Jack launches himself right over the armrest and lands right on his head. This looks more than a little uncomfortable and has caused him to land on the floor more than once.

They have also decided that climbing on their stools can help them reach things they should not. Jack spent a lot of time this weekend being told "NO" since he kept climbing on the stool and trying to pull things off of the shelf in the living room.

The one good thing about the stools is that they have started using them as a place to set their cups when they are done taking a drink. Without a lot of prompting from Matt or I they have figured out that they should set them down nicely on their stools when they are done. At least we're making progress somewhere.
