Oh The Places You'll Go.....

The boys have found a new obsession in life. There is no other way to describe it. They are OBSESSED with their Tigger ride on toy. The songs it sings and Tigger's annoying laugh are forever burned into my brain. Thank God the batteries are dying and the obsession in starting to break. I bought the silly thing for a total of $10 at a mom to mom sale and it is became their favorite thing to play with. Sometimes I think if I just gave them a few boxes, a beach ball and a wooden spoon they would be as happy as can be.

On Saturday morning the boys and I came downstairs after they slept in all the way til 7:30am!!! They had breakfast in their highchairs (don't ask me what cause I no longer remember) and then I let them down to play. They were happy with their balls until Daddy came home from work and brought the offending toy into the house. It had been sitting in the garage since their birthday back in June, but Matt thought Saturday was the perfect day to bring it in. They had been fighting over the other riding toy on Friday and we thought having them both inside would be a solution. No, the lion doesn't even seem to exist anymore. They only want Tigger and his annoying music.

James must have thought that wearing the bucket on his head made it safer, I'm not so sure I agree. Jack was happy as long as he could keep his brother moving, as soon as he met resistance (like the couch or the safety gate) he would go to the other side and continue pushing James around. For some reason James was always riding and Jack was always pushing. When James would get on, he would call for his brother and Jack would come right over to push him. They seemed really happy with this arrangement and were very irritated when Matt tried to get them to switch spots.

After awhile James gained a passenger. He loves his stuffed animals and apparently this bear needed a ride. At some point in the morning they did get dressed and then continued to play with Tigger.

Only instead of his typical blue bucket, he had upgraded to the fireman hat we got at a garage sale. He even let Jack wear it for awhile.

By later in the afternoon James was starting to get tired, but refused to get off of the Tigger plane.

They tired themselves out so much playing with it on Saturday, that by Sunday morning they slept 2 1/2 hours longer than they normally do! Hopefully by this weekend the batteries will be completely dead so that we don't end up with piercing headaches while we enjoy our extra hour of sleep time.

OK, now I'm going to cry! I know they need to grow up, but it's hard to see them doing it! Walking around and pushing the tigger! OMGosh!! They are SOOO cute!!!
